So you've bought this house and there's a refrigerator in it, but is that going to stay? These are the questions I get all the time. And really, my job is to sell houses, not sell appliances or furniture.

But it's very important to know what's actually staying in the house when you bought it. So, things like your oven, your dishwasher, your garbage disposal, water heaters, if they are built in and fixed to the property, they are going to remain.

However, things like the refrigerator often get forgotten. The washer and dryer typically go with the seller. And so if those are special things that you want, make sure they get added to your contract. Same with that favorite piece of furniture that perfectly fits that room. This is also a place where those things can be asked for and negotiated within the real estate contract. Now, it can get a little messy, but we can navigate through.
