Well, new construction homes are on the rise. Historically, there's been a significant shortage, but we've started to see that level out over the course of the last few years. We're starting to see more and more new construction homes available, and that opens up a new opportunity for buyers in today's market.
The other interesting thing is that in recent studies we've seen that two thirds of builders are actually offering incentives to buyers. Well, why would they do that if they are these brand-new amazing homes? Well, many of them are very invested in making sure that these homes sell.
So, while there may be less negotiation on the price of the home, there could be some special incentives in the form of builder's warranties add-ons to the home house or paid closing costs, things of that nature.
