We're continuing in our series about the Real Estate Contract. And we've made it all the way to paragraph 16. This paragraph is all about inspection and repair pairs.
It states that you have 10 full business days once you have agreed with the seller to have the home inspected. You can do this yourself or have a builder or someone you trust do it.
But we strongly recommend that you have someone that's licensed that can fully inspect the property and look at everything that could be going wrong. Now, that doesn't mean that everything that's going wrong can be fixed, but this gives you an opportunity to look for those deal breaker items that you don't feel comfortable moving forward with the purchase if these aren't addressed.
If we bring those up, then we have the opportunity to have those fixed and move forward with the sale as normal.
