I know it was just Halloween, and we are talking about possession in the contract, but not that kind of possession. Anyway, we're covering paragraph 23, which talks about when you actually get your new home. There are three options in Arkansas.
Number one is upon closing means that you are plain and simple, get the house when you close on the property. Certainly, that's the most common there's the delayed possession, which means that the seller gets to stay after closing, normally for a fee to the buyer, or prior to closing, which means that the buyer gets to move in early, normally for a fee paid to the seller. That's called early occupancy. Now, those two options have some risks involved, so let's make sure we talk about those before we do anything other than upon the closing. So, let's get on the phone and chat about when you need to get your new home.
