We are talking about the most important date on this contract. That is closing day. Closing day is the day that we are all shooting for.

It's the day that everything is finalized. You sign all the paperwork, and the home officially becomes yours as a buyer or the sale is finished, and you get your paycheck if you are the seller. This is the goal that we're all shooting for when we put these contracts together. We are trying to make sure that everything gets done before this date. Now if it doesn't quite happen, don't worry.

It says this closing date may be changed by written agreement. So, first of all, make sure that you give your lender enough time with your closing dates to get everything done that needs to be done. As we've mentioned before, there are so many things that have to happen, so give them time. And if it does come up to closing and your lender is not quite ready, we can tweak it and it's no problem.
