DON’T deposit a large sum of money. I know that sounds kind of counterintuitive, but it can raise some flags that we don't want raised.
DON’T make any large purchases.
DON’T cosign any loans for anyone else. So sorry, family, you're on your own.
DON’T switch bank accounts that can throw some things off.
DON’T apply for any new credit. Leave your credit alone.
DON’T close any accounts that you have. So not a good time to switch banks.
And DO discuss any changes that you have with your lender. Obviously, you can talk to your agent, but certainly make sure your lender finds out if you're making any big changes.
